General Questions
Yes! All tools on PureXio are 100% free with no hidden costs, subscriptions, or usage limits. We believe in providing accessible tools for everyone.
No account is needed. Simply visit any tool page and start using it immediately. We don't require registration or sign-up.
The only limit is your browser's memory capacity. For best performance, we recommend keeping files under 50MB for PDF tools and 20MB for image tools.
Privacy & Security
No. All processing happens directly in your browser using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device, ensuring complete privacy and security.
We only use privacy-friendly analytics to track page views. We don't track, store, or have access to any files you process. See our Privacy page for details.
All tools process files entirely in your browser using JavaScript, so no uploads are required. However, you need an internet connection to initially load the tool pages. Once loaded, tools work without uploading files to servers, but you'll need to reload the page if you close your browser.
Technical Questions
PureXio works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge (latest 2 versions). Some features may not work on older browsers.
Processing speed depends on your device's performance and file size. Large files may take longer. Try using smaller files or a device with better specifications.
We appreciate bug reports! Please contact us through the email provided in our Imprint page with details about the issue and your browser version.
Tool-Specific Questions
Compressing reduces file size by optimizing image data while keeping the same dimensions using Image Compress. Resizing changes the actual pixel dimensions of the image using Image Resize.
Some tools support batch processing (like PDF Merge). Check the individual tool page to see if batch processing is available.
We use optimized settings that balance file size reduction with visual quality. For images, we typically use 80-85% quality for JPEGs. You can adjust compression levels in Image Compress and PDF Compress.
